FlexInput Channels

The eight AEC-enabled inputs offer FlexInput capability to route a
Dante channel in place of a local mic/line input. The flexible input
selection enables audio processing from remote wireless microphones,
wallplates, and other sources from the Dante network.

Gain Control (GAIN)

Each input provides gain control to accommodate consumer and
professional analog and digital line level sources and microphones.
The gain block provides a mono long-throw fader for gain and
attenuation. Range differs depending on whether the Digital Input
checkbox is selected (checked). For an analog source, the range is
–18 to +80 dB. For a digital source the range is –18 to +24 dB. Step
resolution is 0.1 dB. Adjustments are made with the slider or by
entering the desired dB level directly into the level control direct input
field.
The peak reading meter holds the peak level for one second,
displaying it numerically in the box below the meter. The default
setting is unity gain (0.0 dB).
Phantom Power — Select this box to turn the +48 VDC phantom
power on (checked) and off (unchecked). Phantom power is typically
used to power a condenser microphone.
Mute — Select to silence the mic/line input. The button turns red
when the signal is muted.
Polarity — Select to flip the polarity of wires connected to
the audio connectors (+/tip and – /ring). This can compensate for
miswired connectors.
Digital Input — Select this box to switch the input from the rear
panel analog input (unchecked) to an AT channel input (checked).
The digital source is selected by Dante Controller (see

Filter (FILT)

Each filter block allows a total of five filters. The first filter is inserted
from a processor list that opens when the block is double-clicked or
by selecting it from a context list when the block is right-clicked (see
figure 24).
