Select Pounce Tool from the Menu
1. Press the function key [F1] through [F4] corresponding to the number of the group whose
registered tool you wish to change.
2. Press the CONDITION key to select the tool.
3. Press the F4 key to select the tool you wish to use.
4. Press the RIGHT or LEFT ARROW key to scroll through the tool selection until you select
POUNCE to use the pouncing pen.
5. Press the ENTER key to select POUNCE.
Pounce Conditions
To change the setting of a group of conditions, press the function key [F1] to [F4] corresponding to
the number of the group you wish to change. For example, press the F2 key to select CONDITION
2.
1. Press the CONDITION key to get into the condition menu.
2. Press the NEXT key to cancel the condition where you are currently set and return to the main
menu.
To Change the Pounce Force
1. Press the F1 key to change FORCE.
2. Press the UP or DOWN ARROW key to raise or lower the numeric value from 1 to 35.
3. Press the F3 key to change QUALITY.
4. Press the F4 key to change OFFSET.
5. Press the ENTER key to register your setting.
To Change the Pounce Speed
1. Press the F2 key to change SPEED.
2. Press the UP or DOWN ARROW key to raise or lower the numeric value from 1 to 90 and +. [1
to 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 70, 80, 90, +.] The + is 126cm/sec speed.
3. Press the F1 key to change FORCE.
4. Press the F3 key to change QUALITY.
5. Press the F4 key to change OFFSET.
6. Press the ENTER key to register your setting.
To Change the Pounce Quality
1. Press the F3 key to change QUALITY.
2. Press the UP or DOWN ARROW key to raise or lower the numeric value from 1 to 8. The
smaller the value, the higher the quality.
3. Press the F1 key to change FORCE.
4. Press the F2 key to change SPEED.
5. Press the F4 key to change OFFSET.
6. Press the ENTER key to register your setting.
To Change the Pounce Offset
1. Press the F4 key to change OFFSET.
2. Press the UP or DOWN ARROW key to raise or lower the numeric value from 1 to 99.
3. Press the ENTER key to register your setting.
NOTE: For the Pounce Condition, the Cutter Offset refers to the spacing between holes in mm
units.
