8.02.1 FLOPPY JUMPERS

The TEK-AT4LVG supports the 2.88MB High Density Floppy. The W30 and W31
jumpers EDOUT and HDOUT signals. The ettings are as follows:
1- HDOUT and EDOUT left to sotware (default setting).
OR
2- HDOUT to Pin 33 (J4), and Ground to Pin 27 (J4), with
EDOUT to Pin 29 (J4), and Ground to Pin 17 (J4).
OR
3- HDOUT to Pin 27 (J4), and Ground to Pin 33 (J4), with
EDOUT to Pin 17 (J4), and Ground to Pin 29 (J4).
Please refer to Section 4 for information and about settings and location of these jumpers.
Note:
Please notice that these jumpers are optional.
Since the software is smart enough to detect the different types of floppy drive,
your 2.88MB Floppy Drive will operate correctly if 2.88MB is indicated in the
BIOS Setup.
Not installing these jumpers will work for all floppy disk drives, as long as the
proper floppy type is indicated in AWARD Setup. For proper operation, we
recommend you not to install these jumpers.
Please refer to Table 4-1e to setup the W30 and W31 jumpers.
