9.01.3 SERIAL PORTS SOFTWARE SETUP

AWARD Setup
Follow these steps, from the AWARD Setup program's main menu:
• Select the Chipset Features Setup option.
• In the Chipset Features Setup screen, the Onboard Serial Port 1 option allows you to
set the Serial Port 1 address to None, COM1/3F8h, COM2/2F8h, COM3/2E8h, or
COM4/3F8h.
• Also in the Chipset Features Setup screen, the Onboard Serial Port 2 option allows you
to set the Serial Port 2 address to None, COM1/3F8h, COM2/2F8h, COM3/2E8h, or
COM4/3F8h.
• Also in the Chipset Features Setup screen, the Serial Port 1 Interrupt option allows you
to enable IRQ4 for Serial Port 1 (when set to COM1/3 → IRQ4) or to disable IRQ
(when set to COM1/3 → None).
• Also in the Chipset Features Setup screen, the Serial Port 2 Interrupt option allows you
to enable IRQ3 for Serial Port 2 (when set to COM2/4 → IRQ3) or to disable IRQ
(when set to COM2/4 → None).
