HDD STAND-BY TIMER
This option enables the Hard Disk to be powered off separately from other peripheral
devices without necessarily interfering with the operation of the rest of the system. The
Hard Disk will be powered back on at the next hard disk access operation. The settings are
Disable, 1 MIN, 2 MIN, 3 MIN, 4 MIN, 5 MIN, 6 MIN, 7 MIN, 8 MIN, 9 MIN, 10 MIN,
11 MIN, 12 MIN, 13 MIN, 14 MIN and 15 MIN.
SYSTEM STAND-BY TIMER
This option sets the inactivity timer for the enabled Wake Up Event Detection system
devices listed on the next page. When this timer expires, the system will enter the Stand-
by state. The settings are Disable, 7 SEC, 30 SEC, 3.8 MIN, 7 MIN, 14.5 MIN, 58 MIN
and 240 MIN.
SYSTEM SUSPEND TIMER
This option sets the interval of inactivity between Stand-by mode and Suspend Mode. The
timer starts when the system enters Stand-by and, when it reaches this setup value, will
enter the Suspend state. The settings are Disable, 14 SEC, 56 SEC, 3.8 MIN, 7 MIN, 58
MIN and 240 MIN.
WAKE UP EVENT DETECTION
Power Management events are I/O events whose occurrence can prevent the system from
entering a Power saving mode or can awaken the system from such a mode.
KEYBOARD DETECTION
This option enables access to the keyboard as a Power Management event.
SERIAL PORT DETECTION
This option enables access to the COM ports (COM1, COM2, etc.) as a Power
Management event.
