Emerald ICE HD Voicemail Installation Manual
Subscribers may send messages to system group lists if their mailbox COS permits
this function to be used.
When defining the group lists, organize the groups logically. Each list should
contain subscribers that would normally receive copies of the same message.
For example:
SALES - all members of the sales force
TECHNICAL - all in-house technicians
CUSTOMER SERVICE - all members of the Customer Service team
System Group Lists
System group lists are created by the System Administrator on the System Groups
Administration Screen with the system programming terminal, or from within the
System Administrator mailbox.
The default number of system groups is 50 with the list numbers ranging from 30
to 79. Each group list can contain up to 180 individual mailbox numbers. It is good
practice to print and distribute the group lists to all personnel allowed to use
them. When sending a message to a group list, the system immediately informs
the subscriber that the message has been sent, even though the system may not
have completed the process yet. This allows the subscriber to perform other
functions while the group message is being sent.
