3-52 Removal and Replacement Procedures

Base Pan Cover

To remove the base pan cover:
1. Perform the service preparations desrcibed on page 3-2.
2. Remove the following components:
workstation cover
front bezel
I/O bracket assembly (expansion board bracket)
system board with tray
3. Turn the workstation on its end, with the front bezel end up.
4. Locate the tab on the bottom of the base pan cover and lift it with a flat-head screwdriver.
5. Pull the base pan cover toward the front bezel end until it stops.
6. Lift the base pan cover off the base pan assembly.

To replace the base pan cover and reassemble the workstation, reverse the above steps.
