Removal and Replacement Procedures

System Board With Tray Removal and Replacement

To remove the system board with tray:
1.
Perform the service preparations described on page 3-2.
2.
Remove the following components:
workstation cover
I/O bracket assembly (expansion board bracket)
3.
Disconnect and remove all cables plugged into the system board with tray.
NOTE: The cables for the speakers are not located in the same area as the other cables. Ensure
that you have removed the speaker cable before proceeding.
4. Grasp the back edge of the system board with tray and slide it out of the chassis.

CAUTION: Electrostatic discharge can damage electronic components. Be sure
you are properly grounded before beginning any installation procedure. See
"Electrostatic Discharge Information" in Chapter 2 for more information.
