description
The description Interface Configuration (Ethernet, port-channel) mode command adds a
description to an interface. To remove the description, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
description string
no description

string — Comment or a description of the port up to 64 characters.
Default Configuration
By default, the interface does not have a description.

Example
The following example adds a description to port g15.

speed
The speed Interface Configuration (Ethernet, port-channel) mode command configures the speed
of a given Ethernet interface when not using auto-negotiation. To restore the default, use the no
form of this command.
Syntax
speed {10 | 100 | 1000}
no speed
