The DES-3252P system LEDs are located on the front panel's left side. The following figure illustrates the DES-

Cable, Port, and Pinout Information
This section describes the devices physical interfaces and provides information about cable connections. Stations
are connected to the device ports through the physical interface ports on the front panel. For each station, the
appropriate mode (Half/Full Duplex, Auto Negotiation) is set. The default is Auto Negotiation.

Indicates a master device (future release).
Green
Indicates a slave device (future release).
Indicates the device is not a stack member, and is currently is

stand-alone mode.
Green
Indicates a PoE mode.
Off
Indicates an Ethernet mode.
Indicates that the device is being powered from a Redundant
Red
Power Supply.
Indicates that a Redundant Power Supply is connected to the
Green
device.
Indicates that a Redundant Power Supply is not connected to
Off
the device.
Red
Indicates that there is a faulty fan.
Green
Indicates that all fans are functioning correctly.
Green
Indicates that the device is powered up.
Off
Indicates that the device is off.
Flashing Red
Indicates that the device is currently running POST.
Red
Indicates that the device detected a POST running error.
