Lighting
Operate the appliance's master switch to
)
connect it to the electrical mains.
Turn on the gas and water supply tap.
)
Fill the well (see pag. 21).
)
IMPORTANT: Before fi lling the tank,
make sure the drain lever is on "CLOSED" .
Press the knob (A) and turn it anti-clockwise
)
(pos. 1), while keeping button (C) pressed, to
light the pilot light. Hold the knob down for
approximately 15 sec. to start up the thermo-
couple.
Press and turn the knob (A) anti-clockwise
)
(pos. ) to light the burner.
Turn the knob (A) to one of the other posi-
)
tions ( pos. 3) to adjust the burner intensity
to lower values.
Turning off
Press the knob (A) and turn it clockwise
)
(pos.1) to turn off the burner. The pilot light
will remain on to allow the burner to be re-lit.
If the safety thermostat is tripped, the applian-
ce has to be restored to the initial working con-
ditions as follows.
Open the hatch.
)
Use a screwdriver to press the button (B) of
)
the tripped safety thermostat to reactivate
the gas supply.

Turn off the gas and the water supply tap and

switch off the main electricity supply.
IMPORTANT: Empty the well com-
pletely after use.
