Switching on the appliance
Connect the appliance to the mains power

supply using the master switch-disconnector.
Fill the well (see page 19).

NOTE: Before fi lling the tank, make
sure the drain lever is on "CLOSED".
Turn the knob (A) to 1 to turn on the heating

elements at the maximum power and speed
up the boiling times. The mains light indica-
tor (D) goes on.
Turn the knob (A) to one of the other settings

(pos.2), to adjust the heating element power
to a lower level.
Turning off the appliance
Cut off the water supply (see page 19).

USE AND OPERATION
Thermostat indicator light: when on, it in-

dicates that safety thermostats have tripped.
The light goes off once the appliance has
been reset.
Mains indicator light: it lights up to indicate

that the power supply is on.
