Genera lly, we recommend using a soft sponge or a lint-free
m icrofiber cloth to t he clean fabric. Brushes should on ly be used fo r
carpets and floor mats , s ince other fabric surfaces could be harmed
by brushes .
Norma l su rface sta ins can be cleaned using a commercially avai lab le
fo a m cle aner. Spread t he fo a m on t he surfa ce of t he fabr ic wit h a soft
sponge and work it in gently. Do not saturate the fab ric. Then pat the
foam d ry us ing ab sorben t , dry clot hs (e.g . m icrofibe r clo t h) a nd
vacuum it after it has dr ied com plete ly.
Cleaning
stains
Sta ins caused by beverages (e.g. coffee, fruit ju ice, et c.) can be
t reate d with a mild deter gen t so lut ion. Apply t he dete rgent solu t ion
with a sponge. In the case of stubborn stains, a detergent paste ca n
be applied direct ly to t he stain a nd wo rked int o t he fabri c. Afte r-
wa rds, use copious amo unts of clean water to remove the rema ining
de t ergent . Apply the wa t er with a damp cloth or sponge and pat the
fab ric d ry with an a bsorbent, d ry cloth .
Sta ins from choco late or makeup sho uld have detergent paste (e.g.
ox-g a ll soa p) ru bbed int o t hem. Afterw ards, remove t he so a p wit h
water (damp sponge).
Alcoho l can be used to tr eat stai ns from grease, oil, lipst ick or a ba ll-
point pen . Melted g rease or dye mus t be patted off using absorbe nt
material. It may be necessary to retreat the a reas with detergent
pas t e a nd water .
In the case of general soiling of the upholste ry and cover mater ia l, we
recommend hiring a speci al ist th at has t he equ ipm en t t o clea n the
seat covers and other fabric surfaces by shampoo ing and sp ray
extra ctio n.

Always use a clean cloth moistened in clear wate r to clean these
areas. For pe rsistent dirt use an Aud i app roved
solvent-free
plasti c
cleaner/protectant.

harder for the airbag to deploy.

Never clean the instrument panel or the surface of Airbag
modules with cleaning products that contain solvents.
