Plastic and vinyl
Plastics needs special care.
Use a clean, damp cloth or sponge to remove dust and light surface
dirt. For othe r so il, use a lukew a rm all-purpose cleaning solution or a
m ild saddle soap for vinyl tr im . Remove water spots and soap traces
w it h a clean, dam p cloth o r sponge. Use a clean, soft clot h to rub d ry.
Grease, tar or oil stains can be removed with a clean cloth or sponge
soaked with all-p urpose cleaner or with a so lvent des igned especially
t o clean vinyl.
Occas ionally app ly a colorless vinyl or leather preservative to retain
t he ma t er ia l's lu ster and pliabili ty.

Aluminum trim
Use only neutral-pH products to remove spots and deposits from
alumi num surface s . Chr ome care pr oduct s and al kalin e cleaners w ill
attac k alumin um surfaces and can damage them over t ime.

Touch-up paint
Minor paint damage s should be touched up immediately.
- Use either a t ouch- up paint stick or spray paint to cover
minor scratches and nicks.
Your Audi dealer has t ouch-up paint for m ino r scra t ches an d st one
chips . Scratches should be touched up soon after t hey occur t o
preven t cor ros ion.

Windows
Clear vision to all side s .
Clean all windows regu larly to remove road film and carwash
wax buildup.
- Remove snow fro m windows using a brus h.
- Use a plastic ice scra per to
remove
ice f rom windows and
mirrors.
- Remove other residue on t he windows with a spray-o n
glass cleane r.
- Wipe the windows dry with a clean piece of clot h or
kitchen paper t owel.
