Chassis
Have the undercoating checked for damage from time to
time.
The lower body she ll of your Audi is a lso thoroughly protected against
corrosion.
Any damage to the undercoating caused by road hazards shou ld be
repa ired promp t ly.

Too much under coating in the wrong place s can cau se a fire .
Do not apply additional underco ating or rustproofing on or
ne ar th e exhaust manifold , exhaust pipe s, catalytic convert e r or
heat shield s. While driving , t he substance used fo r undercoat ing
could ove rheat and caus e a fire .

Exhaust
tail
pipes
Road salt and other corrosive materials w ill damage the material in
the exhaust tai l pipes if they are not cleaned regularly. Do not clean
the tai l pipes with whee l cleaner, paint po lish, chrome polish or ot her
abras ive cleaners. Clean the tai l pipes w ith car care products that are
suitable for st ai nless stee l.
Your authorized Audi dealer can provide clean ing products that have
bee n tested and approved for your veh icle. •

- Clean the display with a soft clean cloth and an LCD
cleaner.
The disp lay can be cleaned w ith a profess iona lly available " LC D
cleaner". The cloth shou ld be slightly dampened wit h the cleaning
fluid to clean the d isp lay .

To avoid scratching the display, you should never clean it dry. •
Aluminum
trim
Use only neutral-pH products to remove spots and deposits from
aluminum surfaces . Chrome care products and alkaline cleaners w ill
attack aluminum surfaces and can damage them ove r time.

Fabrics
and fabric
coverings
Fabrics and fabr ic coverings (e.g. seats, door trim panels, etc.) should
be cleaned at regular int erva ls with a vacuum cleaner. This removes
surface dirt part icles which could become embedded in the fabr ic
t hrough use. St eam cleaners sho uld not be used, because the st eam
tends to push the dirt deeper into the fabric and lock it there .
