4. System Description

4.2.3.3 Pumps

Two peristaltic pumps are located on the front of the system, and are activated according to the selected protocol:
Reagent Pump —The left peristaltic pump delivers reagents to the Sample Chamber(s) via the Module Manifold.

Waste Pump —The right peristaltic pump discards waste fluids from the Sample Chamber(s) to the Waste Bottles

(s) via the Module Manifold.
Module Manifold
The Module Manifold is located between the peristaltic pumps. Six tubes located on top of the Module Manifold, are
individually connected to each of the Sample Chambers of the three Thermal Modules.
