Field Definitions

Logical Unit Number (Byte 01, bits 7-5)
The library does not support Logical Unit Numbers, so this field must be 00h.
EVPD (Byte 01, bit 0-1)
When the Enable Vital Product Data (EVPD) bit is 0, the library returns only the
Standard Inquiry Data Page. If this bit is set to 1, the library returns the Vital Product
Data Page specified by the Page Code field; the library supports page codes of 0, 80h, and
C1 through C8.
Page Code (Byte 02, bits 7-0)
The library supports ten pages of Vital Product Data; Page 0, 80h, and C1 through C8.
If the EVPD bit is 0, this field is ignored and the Standard Inquiry Data is returned. The
information returned in the Vital Product Data pages describes the Field Replaceable
Units (FRUs).
Allocation Length (Byte 04, bits 7-0)
The Allocation Length field specifies the number of bytes that the initiator has allocated
for data returned from the Inquiry command. A value of 0 indicates that no Inquiry data
is to be transferred. This condition is not considered an error. The library terminates the
Data In phase when it has transferred either the number of bytes specified by the
Allocation Length field or all of the available Inquiry Data, whichever is less. The data
length for the Standard Inquiry Data returned by the library is 38h (56 bytes).
