J Return Drive ECC Rate
The
J
ECC rate, and the number of times the tape has been loaded.
Format
J drive <CR>
A drive number must be entered for the drive parameter.
•
0: return data for all installed drives
•
1 through 4: return data for the specified drive.
The clean me request bit returns 0 if the clean request is not set and 1 if the clean request
is set.
Example:
Return data:
"DRV:[1-4],CLN[0,1],RD:n.nn%,WR:n.nn%,LD:n <CR>"
The return data is the drive number, the state of the clean request (0=NO, 1=YES), the
read ECC %, the write ECC %, and the number of times the tape has been loaded.
K Read/Write Confidence Test
The K command returns the results of the read/write confidence test. For this
command to execute properly, you must ensure that:
•
the library power remains ON for the duration of the test.
•
there is a tape in the library front door before you issue the test command.
•
there are no processes running which could access the library or drives after the test
starts. Ensure all backup software is shut down before you issue this command.
The library LCD panel displays the Read/Write screen and updates it periodically as the
test progresses.
This test takes approximately 15-20 minutes for each drive installed in the
