Unpacking the Library

Save all packaging materials when unpacking the library.
Note:
Any returned library must be shipped to Spectra Logic in its original carton
and packed with the original packing material. Failure to do so will void
the warranty. Refer to Chapter 8: Technical Support and Service in the
Spectra 10000 User Guide for warranty information.

Installing the Library

To install the Spectra 10000 library, follow the instructions in the Spectra 10000 User Guide.

Configuring the Library

The Spectra 10000 User Guide explains the following configuration procedures in detail:

SCSI

Cabling for the SCSI library, SCSI bus termination, and setting the SCSI IDs.
