Element addresses are set according to the following rules.
Element addresses must be unique.
If two drives are used, the address entered for the drives and the next address are
both reserved.
If two drives are used, the address entered for the arms and the next address are
both reserved.
Example:
Dual drive library:
0: Door Element Address
80, 81: Drives' Element Address
79: Gripper Arm Element Address:
1 to 43: Slots' Element Address
Example:
Single drive library:
0: Door Element Address
80: Drives' Element Address
79: Gripper Arm Element Address
1 to 43: Slots' Element Address

10000 User's Guide.

R Read Element Status

R page <cr>
page =0: The return information notifies the host if an element is empty or full. The
results are returned as a comma-separated list of 1s and 0s. The number of values returned
depends on the number of slots in the carousel. An ASCII 1 indicates a cartridge exists,
while and an ASCII 0 indicates that the corresponding slot is empty.
