Field Definitions

Element Address (Bytes 00 - 01)
The Element Address field gives the address for the import/export element whose status
is reported by this element descriptor block.
InEnab (Byte 02, bit 5)
An import enable (InEnab) bit of one indicates that the import /export element supports
movement of media into the library. The library reports a value of 1 for this field.
ExEnab (Byte 02, bit 4)
An export enable (ExEnab) bit of one indicates that the import/export element supports
movement of media out of the library. The library reports a value of 1 for this field.
Access (Byte 02, bit 3)
This field indicates that access to the entry/exit port by the Gripper Arm is allowed. The
value reported for this field is 1.
Except (Byte 02, bit 2)
An exception (Except) bit of 1 indicates the element is in an abnormal state.
0 - An exception bit of 0 indicates the element is in a normal state.
1 - If the bit is 1, information on the abnormal state may be available in the ASC
and ASCQ bytes.
Imp/Exp (Byte 02, bit 1)
An import/export (Imp/Exp) bit of 1 indicates the unit of media in the import/export
element was placed there by an operator.
An Imp/Exp bit = 0 means that the cartridge was placed there by the robot.
Full (Byte 02, bit 0)
The full bit indicates that the element contains a unit of media. A returned value of 0,
from the Library, indicates that the element does not contain a unit of media.
