When the library detects a SCSI bus parity error, Check Condition (02h) status is
returned to the initiator and the following settings are made:
When the initiator detects a SCSI bus parity error, the command must be reissued. If the
command was Request Sense (03h), valid Sense Data is returned. Furthermore, the Parity
Error Sense Data is not reset until the next non-Request Sense, or non-Inquiry, command
is issued.

General Command Format

The following are the formats for six-, ten- and twelve-byte SCSI command descriptor
blocks (CDBs), followed by the operation code format and the typical format for the
control byte. These commands are implemented in accordance with the ANSI Small
Computer System Interface-2 (SCSI-2) standard.
CAUTION:
commands, supported by the tape drives installed in the library, are described in the
OEM manual for the tape drive.
