5) Multi-guide motor (M5) control
Below is shown the control circuit of multi-guide motor
(M5). The multi-guide motor is a 4-phase stepping
motor.
The sorter controller PWB sends the multi-guide
motor ON signal (GDMON) and control signals
(MGMA, MGMB) to the bin unit control PWB. The
motor driver (Q303) changes the direction of rotation
of reference wall motor (M5) by controlling the output
timing of pulse signals (A, A*, B, B*) according to the
control signals (MGMA, MGMB).

While the multi-guide motor ON signal (GDMON) is
not generated (while the motor is at reset), voltage
+5V is applied to each phase of reference wall motor
to fix the rotation of multi-guide motor.
