2. Trouble indication
LEDs provided on the sorter controller PWB light, blink or go out depending on status of the machine, indicating the following
information.
LED No.
LED1
LED2 Malfunction of sorter controller
PWB
LED3 The stapler unit is not in
stapling enable position (home
position, front side, rear side).
LED4 The stapler unit shift
prohibition signal is output
(stapler unit shift disabled).
LED5 The bin shift motor operation
prohibition signal is output (bin
shift motor operation
disabled).
LED6 Paper holder arm location is
not proper.
LED7 The connector of transfer
guide UP sensor, transfer
guide home position sensor or
push bar home position
sensor has been
disconnected.
LED8 Normal rotation of transfer
motor
LED9 The connector of sort paper
sensor or non-sort paper
sensor has been
disconnected.
LED10 The connector of stapler unit
direction sensor or stapler unit
shift position sensor has been
disconnected.
LED11 The stapler unit rocking motor
cannot run.
Lighting
CPU is operating properly
Malfunction of sorter

Change of rotational
speed of transfer

Operation stop
