4. Remove the jammed staples.
Remove the jammed staples with the jam release
tool supplied, as shown in the figure.
5. Close the stapling section, and return the stapler to its original position.
Press down on the stapling section plate and
return it to its original position.
6. Return the stapler to its original position.
Grasp the stapler's handle, and push the stapler in
gently as far as it will go.
Then close the stapler cover.
Plug the copier's power plug into its socket, and
turn on the power switch.
Return the stapler to its original position.
Make sure that it locks into place.
