(2) Stapler unit
1) Outline
The stapler unit has the composition shown in the
figure below.
The staple motor (M2) is used for stapling drive. The
stapling operation is performed by rotating cam. The
stapling home position sensor (Q1) detects that one
stapling operation was done.
The staple sensor (SW1) detects existence/
nonexistence of staple in the staple cartridge.

Staple switch
The in-stapler paper detection sensor (S5) detects
that paper has been inserted into the stapler unit so
as to prevent troubles due to no-load stapling
(stapling without papers).
