E In-bin paper sensor error
Causes/Defective parts Step
Cable 1 Check that the cable between the sorter
controller PWB and the bin unit control PWB has
been connected correctly.
Cable 2 Check that the cables of in-bin paper sensor
light emitting side (S3/S6) and light receiving
side (S4/S7) have been correctly connected to
the bin unit control PWB. (Connector J302)
Installation of 3 Check that the in-bin paper sensor light emitting
in-bin paper side (S3/S6) and light receiving side (S4/S7)
sensor light have been installed normally.

In-bin paper 4 Check whether normal state can be restored by
sensor light replacing the in-bin paper sensor light emitting

Bin unit control 5 Check whether the normal state can be restored

light receiving side (S4/S7), and
adjust the sensitivity of in-bin
paper sensor.
YES Replace the bin unit control PWB,
and adjust the sensitivity of in-bin
paper sensor.
NO Replace the sorter controller PWB,
and adjust the sensitivity of in-bin
paper sensor.
