(4) Stapler unit shift control

1) Outline

The stapler unit is shifted toward the rear side to

perform single stapling and double stapling.

The staple shift motor (M3) is used for shift. The

stapler unit position sensor (S2) is provided to detect

the home position and stapling position of stapler unit.

Front side

While the stapler unit is in its home position, it is fixed

with the stapler unit fixing pawl. When it is shifted, the

fixing pawl release solenoid (SL5) is turned on to

disengage the fixing pawl.
