3. Operations of units
A. Transfer drive system
(1) Outline
The transfer system sends the papers unloaded from
the copying machine to the bin, using the transfer rollers
which is driven by the transfer motor (M1).
While the papers are transferred, the transfer motor
(M1) rotates forward. When the transfer motor (M1) is
reversed, the paper guide is raised.
The paper transfer route is changed when the paper
pass solenoid (SL1) is turned on or off according to the
mode which has been set on the copying machine.

In the NON-SORT mode the paper is detected by the
non-sort paper sensor (PI3). In the SORT mode the
paper is detected by the sort paper sensor (PI4).
