F. Power supply
The power supply route is shown below.
Power for the sorter is supplied from the copying
machine. Power supply for the logic system (5V) is
given from the 24V power source. It is controlled by the
regulator IC provided on the sorter controller PWB.

turned off, the power supply for the sorter is also turned
off. Therefore the sorter is provided with lithium battery
(BAT1) on the sorter controller PWB so as to back up
the RAM (Q3) provided on the sorter controller PWB.
