2) Alignment
The guide bar performs aligning operation whenever
paper is unloaded. It presses papers when papers
are stapled.
The guide bar rocking width is set by the paper size
signal given from the copying machine. (Paper size:
210 to 297 mm)

3) Push-out operation
In addition to aligning operation the guide bar
performs the paper push-out operation in the FRONT
ACCESS mode.
The paper push-out causes greater load upon the
drive motor than in aligning operation. The machine is
designed so that the combination of gears of guide
bar drive system is changed so as to increase the
guide bar rocking power.
The drive system gear combination is changed by the
gear change solenoid (SL4).
