C. Stapler unit drive system
(1) Outline
The stapler unit staples the papers unloaded into the
bin. There are three types of stapling, namely corner
stapling, double stapling and single stapling.
The stapler unit performs the following 4 operations.
* Stapling operation
* Stapler unit direction change
* Stapler unit shift
* Stapler unit rocking
The staple motor (M2) is used to drive the staple unit.

Stapling operation home position detection signal (SPL-HP)
Staple nonexistence detection signal (HKEMP)
In-stapler paper signal (SPD)
Rocking stop position detection signal (SGSTPP)
Stapler safety detection signal (SFTYSW)
Stapler position fixing release
solenoid drive signal (SHRSLD)
Stapler direction detection signal (HLD1/HLD2)
Stapler unit shift position
detection signal (MVHP/SEBLS)
Stapler unit shift motor drive signal
Stapler unit shift motor drive signal
Stapler unit fixing release solenoid drive signal
Stapler unit shift motor rotation detection signal (SWMCLK)
Stapler unit rocking position detection signal (SWGP)
Stapler unit rocking home position detection signal (SWHP)

As stapler unit direction change is performed
concurrently with shift of stapler unit, specific drive
system is not provided individually.
The stapler unit shift motor (M3) is not used to shift the
stapler unit. The stapler unit position sensor (S2) detects
the position of stapler unit.
The stapler unit rocking motor is used to rock the stapler
unit. The stapler unit rocking position sensor (PI10) and
the stapler unit rocking home position sensor (PI9)
detect the rocking position.
