6) In-stapler paper sensor (S5)
The stapler unit is provided with the in-stapler paper
sensor (S5) which detects existence/nonexistence of
paper.
The in-stapler paper sensor (S5) is a reflection
transmission type sensor using a prism. This sensor
detects existence/nonexistence of paper, and sends
the result to the microcomputer (Q1) provided on the
sorter controller PWB.
Only when the microcomputer (Q1) received the
"paper existing" signal, it drives the staple motor (M2).
