(2) Transfer route
The paper is transferred as follows.
1) NON-SORT mode
In this mode the copies are unloaded into the non-sort
bin.
Non-sort bin
2) SORT/GROUP/STAPLE SORT mode
In this mode the copies are unloaded into the sort bin.

(3) Transfer speed control
The transfer speed is controlled by the transfer motor
(M1).
The transfer motor controls the following speeds,
changing the rotational speed of transfer roller.
1) Process speed
The papers are transferred with the speed equal to
the process speed of copying machine.
2) Leading-in speed
After the paper passes the non-sort paper sensor
(PI3), the transfer speed is increased, and the space
between the preceding paper and following paper is
widened (however, the transfer speed varies
depending on the type of copying machine to be
connected and paper size).

3) Unloading speed
After the paper passes the sort paper pass sensor
(PI4), the transfer speed is lowered gradually, and the
paper is slowly unloaded into the sort bin.
