Set the power switch to ON.

Press the STAPLING START/STOP key provided
on the control panel of the machine.
• The guide bar shifts for 18 mm from the home
position.
• After completion of all operations stated above the
STAPLING START/STOP key lights.

Put A4 size (11 x 8

) papers (about 10 sheets) in

the bin as shown below. The papers must contact
the guide bar and bin edge.

Press the bin shift key (UP/DOWN key) to shift the
bin until the reference wall contacts the papers.
• 1st pressing of UP key : Shift in the narrowing
2nd and subsequent pressing
: Once pressing results in shift in narrowing
direction for one pulse, holding down results in
continuous shift
• DOWN key : Once  pressing  results  in  shift
in  widening  direction  for  one
pulse.
Note: Take care so that excessive narrowing or
widening does not occur.

Holding the state described in Step 7), press the
FRONT ACCESS key of control panel.
9)
Check how the FRONT ACCESS key of control
panel lights.
Lighting : Completion of adjustment→→→Restore
the dip switches to their original position
(all OFF). Thereby, adjustment has been
completed.

F. Adjusting the move motor unit slide lock solenoid
1. Fit the pin of slide solenoid (1) into the part "a".
2. Insert the spacer (3) between the iron core and the
solenoid, and fully shift it toward the lock lever part "b".
3. Fix the slide solenoid (4) with screw.
î The longer side of solenoid pin must be at lower
side.

G. Adjusting the paper holder arm stop position
Arrange and fix the solenoid with screw so that the front
end of flapper exists in the range A to B shown in the
figure when the solenoid is on.
