Procedure
1. Power down the server.
2. If installed, disconnect the tube set.
3. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
4. Remove the server.
5. Place the server on a flat, level work surface.
6. Remove the node cover:
a. Press and hold the release button (callout 1).
b. Slide the cover towards the front end of the server, and then lift it up and off the server (callout 2).
Remove the air baffle
CAUTION: For proper cooling, do not operate the server without the baffles, expansion slot covers, or blanks installed.
Procedure
1. Power down the server.
2. If installed, disconnect the tube set.
3. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
4. Remove the server.
5. Place the server on a flat, level work surface.
6. Remove the node cover.
7. Remove the air baffle.
