Ethernet line cards. For model names of specific transceivers, refer to the
SwitchBlade x8100 data sheet on the Allied Telesis web site.

The illustrations show the AT-SBx81GS24a Line Card. The procedure is
the same for all the devices.
To install SFP or SFP+ transceivers in line cards, perform the following
procedure:
1. Remove the transceiver from its shipping container and store the
packaging material in a safe location.
2. Remove the dust cover from the SFP slot chosen for the transceiver.
Figure 94 on page 159 shows the removal of the cover from slot 1.
