Encrustations, scale and sediments
Carry out mechanical cleaning with soft brush and
flowing water or high-pressure water cleaner.
Caution!
Do not damage seals.
Chemical cleaning with
- Nitric acid*
- Citric acid*
- Phosphoric acid*
- Sodium polyphosphates*
* Concentration max. 4 %; Temperature max. 60 °C
Oil residues, greases
Hydrocarbon-based deposits can be removed using a
soft brush and a paraffin- or naphtalene-based solvent
(e.g. kerosene).
Caution!
Solvents cause seals and gaskets to expand
Contact period: max. 30 min.
