5 Operation Method
Precautions during system menu display
• Any switches that are hidden by the system menu are disabled while the system menu is displayed.
Switches behind the
system menu are
disabled.
• The system menu has priority even over scrolling messages.
Timing for Hiding
The system menu is hidden five seconds after it is displayed.
However, the system menu remains displayed while the [Display] switch or the [Security] switch is selected.

Switches the operation mode between RUN and Local.
Displays the brightness adjustment screen.
Brightness adjustment is possible in 3 levels.
Brightness adjustment is possible in 16 levels.
Displayed only when [Use security function] is selected at [System Setting]  [Other]  [Security
Setting] using V-SFT version 6.
For details on the security function, refer to the X1 Series Reference Manual 2.
Displays the login/logout screen.
Displays the administrator authentication screen.
On the user list screen, a new user account can be added and the registered user accounts can be

deleted or edited.
Displayed only when [Use operation log function] is selected at [System Setting]  [Other] 
[Operation log Setting] using V-SFT version 6. This is used for displaying the operation log viewer.

Displayed only when [External USB storage] is selected at [System Setting]  [Other]  [Storage
Setting] using V-SFT version 6.
This is used for stopping access to a connected storage device and reconnecting to a storage
device.
Not connected (gray)
Connected (blue): Removal Allowed
Writing from the X1 app has stopped. The storage device can be removed.
Connected (blue): Removal Not Allowed
Writing from the X1 app is allowed. Do not remove the storage device.
Removes a connected storage device or reconnects a disconnected storage device.
