1.17.1 Installing the Pirani Gauge on to the Extension Flange

Insert the VCR gasket into the 4-VCR female ports on both the Pirani gauge
and the flange.

Connect one end of the 4-VCR male-to-male adapter to the 4-VCR female port
of the extension flange following standard VCR protocols.

Connect the 4-VCR Female Pirani gauge connection to the other side of the
4-VCR male-to-male right-angle adapter.

Ensure that the Pirani is aligned parallel with the extension tube with the
connection end pointed towards the electronics module.

The resulting assembly will look like
