Getting Started

1.1 Introduction

The Transpector
spectrometer Residual Gas Analysis (RGA) instrument designed for use in high
vacuum environments for monitoring trace contaminants and process gases.
Transpector MPH runs with the Windows
member of the FabGuard
web server.
This chapter provides an overview of the Transpector MPH Gas Analysis System.
Topics include: the purpose of Transpector MPH, its specifications, a list of
supplied items, installation instructions and customer support contact information.
Software information can be found either in the FabGuard Explorer operating
manual (PN 074-528) or in the FabGuard help files (for all other FabGuard
programs). Instructions for use of the Transpector Web UI are provided in
Chapter
