2. In the GPRS tab it is necessary to set the dial number, user name and password, access point name
and PDP context identifier to establish a GPRS connection. As usually, this information is given
by cell provider (Figure 22 on page 38).
PPP button opens the PPP parameters window, that allows user to set up the Point-to-Point proto-
col parameters. The Point-to-Point Protocol, or PPP, is commonly used to establish a direct con-
nection between two nodes.
Note:
Information of PPP parameters is given by Internet service provider.
