Notice:
If you remove a power supply cable before setting Power Mode to Auto,
both the receiver and the controller are turned off. To turn them on, you
will need to connect an external power supply once again.

Checking Internal Battery Status

Radio Configuration

The internal PDL radio in your Prego and the base radio can be configured
differently depending of your needs and working conditions. Use PCView and
the PDL configuration program (from Pacific Crest; included with the base
station) to:
• Access the internal PDL modem
• Configure the modem
• Check or change the modem configuration
To access your modem, you create a daisy chain between the Prego serial port
(A or D) and the radio modem (Port C) using PCView. You then activate the
PDL configuration program on your PC and proceed with the radio
configuration.

You have two options to check the status of the internal batteries:
1.Click on Configuration->Receiver and view the battery voltages on
the Receiver Configuration screen (Figure 2-17 on page 2-13).
2.Click on Help->About and view the battery voltages on the About
PCView screen.
A fully charged battery should indicate 8.2 to 8.4 V.
