Loading an OAF
JNS Positioning Systems dealers provide customers with OAF files. For any
OAF related questions, E-mail JNS at options@javad.com. Please have your
receiver ID number available (see "Checking Firmware Version" on page 4-20).

Managing Prego Memory
When using your Prego in static or dynamic applications, it is useful to know
the amount of memory occupied by the receiver's log file. The specific memory
size depends on the type of data being recorded. Use the formulas below to
compute the approximate size of the receiver's log files.
• SS – the estimated size of one epoch of raw data in the receiver's log file
• N – the number of observed satellites per epoch.

Click Load at the bottom of the Option Manager screen (see Figure 4-14 on
page 4-16).
Navigate to the location of the new Option Authorized File. OAFs have .jpo
extensions and are unique to each receiver (Figure 4-15).
Select the appropriate file and click Open (Figure 4-15). The new OAF will
load onto the receiver and the Option Manager table will update.
When finished, click Exit on the Option Manager screen, then click File-
>Disconnect to prevent conflicts with serial port management.
