• Set the Connection mode (Direct).
• Set the port for your computer (typically COM1) from the Port drop-down

Start PCView on your computer. The PCView main screen displays
(Figure 2-1).
Click File->Connect (Figure 2-2).
On the Connection Parameters dialog box, select the following parameters
and click Connect (Figure 2-3 on page 2-6):
