6.3.7 Neck support

1) Determine the medically required position of the neck support.
2) Thread the loop straps of the neck support through the back support pad and the back support (see fig. 58).
3) Adhere the hook straps (see fig. 57) for securing the loop straps onto the back of the back support.
4) Secure the neck support firmly with the hook-and-loop fastener.

6.3.8 Lumbar support pad

1) Open the zipper on the back support pad and move the back support pad to the front.
2) Determine the desired position of the lumbar support pad.
3) Adhere the supplied hook-and-loop straps for securing the lumbar support pad to the back support (see
fig. 61) or use existing hook-and-loop straps.
4) Secure the lumbar support pad with the hook-and-loop fastener.
5) Pull the back support pad with its cap over the back support and close the zipper.

6.3.9 Hook-and-loop foot straps

Attach the hook-and-loop foot straps to the supporting surface of the leg support in the heel area using rivets or
screws (see fig. 62). Drill appropriate holes in the supporting surface for this purpose.
