6.10 Seat insert, small

The installation is usually carried out by the user's attendant.
For mounting information, see the instructions for use (user).

6.11 Delivery without padding

CAUTION
Missing padding
User injuries due to missing or incorrectly selected pads
► Using the seating unit without padding is not permitted. However, the option "delivery without padding" is
available so you can use individually fabricated padding.
► Note that the producer/distributor is responsible for the user's safety when individually fabricated padding is
used. In particular, the ergonomically correct sitting position of the user without pressure points must be veri­
fied. Ottobock assumes no liability in this regard.
► Note that the producer/distributor is also responsible for passing on information on the attachment and care
of the padding.
The option makes it possible to use individual padding if needed.
Note that the Kimba Neo seating unit always has to be delivered and used with padding.

6.12 Frame padding

For mounting information, see the instructions for use of the Kimba Neo, Kimba Cross and Kimba Inline outdoor
mobility bases – reference number 647G891.

6.13 Padding for the leg support

1) Cut the self-adhesive hook-and-loop straps (see fig. 69) to the appropriate length and adhere them to the outer
sides of the leg support.
2) Insert the pad in the leg support and press it onto the hook-and-loop straps (see fig. 70).

6.14 Anti-slip lining

1) Clean the supporting surface of the leg support.
2) Adhere the self-adhesive anti-slip lining to the supporting surface (see fig. 72).
