2) Lay the sternum strap down on the seat surface. The sewn-on clip buckles (see fig. 48, item 5) must point
towards the seat bottom.
3) Thread the shoulder harness (see fig. 48, item 2) through the padding and back support (see fig. 34) and
secure it in the top clip buckles at the back (see fig. 50, item 2).
4) Thread the bottom attachment straps (see fig. 48, item 4) between the seat bottom and back support (see
fig. 50, item 4) to the rear and secure them in the bottom clip buckles at the back (see fig. 50, item 3).
5) If necessary, cut off protruding belt ends of the attachment straps and seal the loose ends by applying heat
(e.g. with a lighter).

Throttling, suffocation or strangulation due to sliding forward or down in the product
► Always use the positioning system in combination with a positioning groin strap that has been put on and
adjusted correctly to stabilise the pelvis.
► The positioning system must fit closely but not too tightly. To avoid injury to the user, it should be possible to
slide two fingers comfortably between the positioning system and the upper body.
► The positioning system is intended to support the area of the upper body from the front. It must be put on and
positioned in such a way that the neck and the throat area remain free at all times. Follow the positioning
instructions.
► To put the product on and adjust it correctly, follow the information in these instructions for use so that the
user cannot slide into a hazardous position.
