13. Move the priming pump (3) until it becomes harder to
move.
14. Return the priming pump (3) back to its original posi-
tion.
15. Turn the starter key to OFF position.
16. Set the fuel valves (A) and (B) as follows.
Fuel cut valve (A): open
Fuel main filter valve (B): to engine
Completely wipe off any spilled fuel around the air bleed
plugs (2), (5), and (7) if equipped.
17. Start the engine, and keep the speed to low idle. If the
engine does not start at this stage, repeat the steps
from 1 to 16, and then try to start it again.
18. Reach the pump compartment, and check for any fuel
leak from the components of the fuel supply line.
19. Get onto the cab, and gradually increase the engine
speed to the maximum. Keep max speed for 2 min,
then set the engine speed to low idle position.
20. Reach the pump compartment, and check for any fuel
leak from the components of the fuel supply line.
