6.4 Battery Simulator

R&S NGM-K106 (P/N: 3636.6626.02) option is required.
Battery Simulator is only available on NGM devices.
Equipped with battery simulator option, the R&S NGM can be used as a battery source
in developing products whereby battery is not ready for testing, such as phones and
portable devices.
The R&S NGM provides a battery simulator editor to configure the battery model at dif-
ferent states to analyze the products behavior under specific conditions. Different bat-
tery state of charge (SoC) can be simulated rapidly without waiting for the charging or
discharging process of a normal battery when conducting tests.
